Common questions
How do I install the extension?
Install from the Chrome Web Store, then click the Avarus icon in your toolbar and sign in with your account. If you don't have an account yet, click "Create account" on the sign-in screen.
How many free listings do I get?
Every new account starts with 10 free listings — no credit card required. After that, a Basic plan ($49/mo) or Pro plan ($79/mo) keeps you going.
Why isn't the extension showing buttons on my inventory pages?
Make sure you're on a dealer inventory page on AutoTrader, CarGurus, or Cars.com — for example,
autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/... or your dealer inventory page on CarGurus or Cars.com. The buttons appear on inventory listing pages, not the homepage. Try refreshing the page after signing in.The Facebook form isn't filling. What do I do?
Make sure you clicked "Post to Facebook" on AutoTrader, CarGurus, or Cars.com first, then opened Facebook Marketplace. The "Insert Vehicle Details" bar appears at the top of the Facebook create-listing page. If it's missing, try refreshing that page. If photos aren't uploading, make sure Chrome has permission to access both sites.
How do I cancel or change my plan?
Open the extension popup and click "Manage Plan" — this opens the Stripe billing portal where you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Changes take effect at the end of your current billing period.
Is my source-site login saved anywhere?
No. Avarus reads the page your browser already has open — it never logs in to AutoTrader, CarGurus, or Cars.com on your behalf and never stores your credentials.
